Variable Frequency Drives
A range of Emotron variable frequency drives from CG Drives & Automation, including high-power drives from 160 to 4,000 kW at 230–690 V with many new frame sizes.
Built for dynamic applications such as cranes, crushers, mills, mixers and centrifuges, with direct torque control and integrated vector braking.

Efficient, protective starts and stops
Reduced start currents mean smaller fuses, cables and energy bills. Torque can be boosted to overcome initial peak loads, and integrated vector braking gives quick, controlled stops.
Optimised operation and full control
Direct torque control reacts quickly to abrupt load changes. A built-in load monitor and Load Curve Protection give early warnings and safety stops for over- and underloads.
User-friendly and reliable
Set parameters in your own process units (m/s, tons/hour, cycles/min). The removable control panel copies settings between units, and built-in logic, comparators and timers often replace an external PLC or relays.
IP20/21 and IP54 versions
The robust metal IP54 version installs close to the application, saving cabinets and long motor cables. 300–3,000 A IP20 modules are also available in compact IP54. Rated up to 55 °C ambient.
Simplified maintenance
A full status report is generated if a process problem occurs, and fold-out power modules with few mechanical parts keep servicing simple.
